The process involves using critical thinking skills to determine who committed the crime. Students are given a crime to solve. They have to examine evidence, interview witnessess, read reports of the crime, and go over biographies of people involved. Students will learn how to process a crime scene, take fingerprints, bag and tag evidence, and write up reports. In April a select group of the club will enter a Forensic Competition at the Suffolk County Police Academy.
