One of the newer traditions at OLMA is a Food and Wine tasting event that we have scheduled for April 15, 2008. This event, "A Taste of Spring" showcases Long Island restaurants and wines.

Our gymnasium is transformed into a garden where you enjoy sampling foods from wonderful restaurants. Some of the participants in past years have been Four, Tutto Pazzo, Restaurant Joanina, Gatsby's, Mim's, Butera's, Cafe Testarossa, Canterbury Ales, Piccolo Bussola, Wild Honey, Jewel of India, Pomodorinos, Louie's, Stressa East, It's Greek to Me, Periwinkles and Mario's. Desserts have been provided by A&G Bakery, Cousin John's, Grassroots, Diane's, Loafers, Saint Honore, Razzano's and Maria's. Banfi Vintners and Frederick Wildman & Sons, Ltd. have donated some wonderful wines.

Our Homerooms contribute to make up wonderful raffle items and many within the Circle of Mercy donate Auction items.
